Favorite Cusa flavor?
Depends on my mood and what I’m craving. For a pick-me-up, definitely the coffee. Any flavor. When I want iced tea, my favorites are jasmine green tea as well as a mixture of the peach and mango green teas, all with a little honey. When I want a treat, the chai tea is delicious with cream/milk and honey. When I need to relax and unwind, I like the herbal teas Deep Doze or Immunity Boost in the evening.

How do I Cusa?
At home, on the go (for errands, work, and traveling), and on outdoor adventures. Cusa teas and coffees are easy to pack, taste great without a having to add anything, and easily dissolve in water.

What do sustainability and wellness mean to me?
Sustainability means being aware of and appreciating our natural environment and resources around us, while making sure that what we consume does not exceed what we contribute. It includes making wiser choices to preserve our planet for future generations. Wellness to me means making choices for a healthy and fulfilling life, not only physically, but also spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and socially.

My theme song and why?
Sam Feldt & Kesha’s “Stronger”. In the song it says, “You’ve got to take it day by day. Keep pushing forward no matter what they say.” I always remind myself to take things one step at a time, one thing at a time, one day at a time, one mile at a time, etc. to stay present and prevent getting overwhelmed. Like many others, I’ve had my setbacks in life. All I can do is take it day by day and push forward.

What I do for work and how I got there?
I’m a clinical psychologist. I got my doctoral degree in psychology through schooling. Lots of it, lol. It took a lot of introspection throughout my schooling, training, and work, too. I currently work as a consulting psychologist. Although my education and experience helped me secure the position, I know that a little luck in timing and networking also helped.

Favorite TV show I’ve watched this year?
This year has been the busiest I’ve been at work since I started consulting in Dallas ten years ago. Besides work, being active, and life stuff, I haven’t watched too many shows this year. I loved watching the Olympics.

How long would I last in a zombie apocalypse?
I would hope I last a while! I know the 10 essentials for hiking, I’m a runner, and would hopefully get boosts of energy from Cusa tea and coffee when needed. That’s got to count for something!
